All items sold in-store and online are brand new. Some products may be opened to verify contents or used for in-store display.
We offer a 14-day return policy on most items. To request a return, please email store@cartoonkingdom.ca. Returns and cancelled orders are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
The following items are final sale: statues and collectible figures/figurines, RC vehicles, RC electronics, batteries, paints, model rocket engines, holiday items, gift cards, clearance items, sale items, and discounted products.
To qualify for a return, items must be unopened, with packaging intact and in the same condition as received. Opened items cannot be returned unless they are defective. Clothing, apparel, jewelry, masks, and accessories must be unworn and unused with all tags and packaging in original condition.
Defects or damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Handling of defective or damaged items depends on product type. RC vehicles, RC electronics, batteries, and locomotives are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and will be processed as warranty claims. All other defective items may be exchanged for the same product. If the item is no longer available, a refund will be issued. Please note that minor cosmetic paint issues and packaging condition do not qualify as defects. Packaging condition is not guaranteed and is not considered part of the product.
Transit damage is handled based on whether shipping insurance was purchased at checkout. If no insurance was purchased, we will attempt to file a claim with the carrier, but approval is at their discretion. If insurance was purchased, the claim process follows the same steps outlined for defective products. In all cases, you may be asked to provide photos of the item, packaging, and shipping box.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item was damaged in transit and shipping insurance was purchased. We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments unless we arranged the return shipping.
When returning an item, it must be packed securely in the original shipping box or an appropriately sized box. Use adequate protective material such as bubble wrap or packing filler. Shipping labels must not be placed directly on the product packaging. Items returned in damaged or diminished condition due to improper packing may result in a reduced or denied refund.
Refunds are processed within 1–2 business days after receiving the returned item. Depending on the payment method, funds are typically returned within 3–5 business days, though some processors may take up to 30 days. Processing times are controlled by the payment provider and not by us.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Any undeliverable or returned shipments will be treated as a return, and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
Order cancellations requested before shipping are subject to a 5% processing fee (7% if paid through Shop Pay).
